Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kosmas Venetsianos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Stratos Vorres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thémellon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khasiα FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Thémellon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Khasiα FC:s goal. In the 3rd minute there was a penalty for Khasiα FC. Panos Linardakis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aggelos Antzas. 0-1. Aggelos Antzas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Kavatzidis in the 6th minute of the match. Iosif Kavatzidis struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Aggelos Antzas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khasiα FC. In the 11th match minute, Thémellon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Chionidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Kosmas Venetsianos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Antzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Panos Linardakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aggelos Antzas was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Anastasios Meimarakis made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Thomas Lazakis sent off a good shot on target. Thémellon's Aggelos Antzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Linardakis in the 32nd minute of play. Anastasios Meimarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Peropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the match, Thémellon's goal looked a bit too open when Kosmas Venetsianos came free, but Aggelos Antzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Lazakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Anastasios Meimarakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 44 minutes into the game, Stamatis Chloros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The wind increased when Dimitris Peropoulos made the kick off in the second half. Anastasios Meimarakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Fytanidis in the 52nd minute of play. Iosif Kavatzidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Antzas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kosmas Venetsianos in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aggelos Antzas saved Thémellon from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dimitris Peropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thémellon's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Peropoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Meimarakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikolas Tziortzopoulos's late challenge caught a Thémellon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikolas Tziortzopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Khasiα FC's Anastasios Meimarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Peropoulos in the 68th minute of play. Panos Linardakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasios Meimarakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Peropoulos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Panos Linardakis from a close distance when the talented Aggelos Antzas managed to make a qualified save. Thémellon's players were relieved. Thémellon's Aggelos Antzas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Thémellon from getting a goal against them. Panos Linardakis took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aggelos Antzas. Aggelos Antzas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Iosif Kavatzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Khasiα FC defense, Dimitris Peropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasios Meimarakis. The Khasiα FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasios Meimarakis should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosmas Venetsianos in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aggelos Antzas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Panos Linardakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aggelos Antzas. Thémellon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Linardakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
