A collision led to Shamrockers FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kyriakos Kourelis hit a great ball. Vassilis Diamantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Fanis Giotas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Skatzos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Fanis Giotas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marios Kavourakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aggelos Thomaidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pavlos Fragatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute.
