Nestoras Maras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerasimos Stratoulis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 46 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerasimos Stratoulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fivos Begnis ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gerasimos Stratoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Megalon Khorion's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerasimos Stratoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Maras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theodosis Karras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vassilis Vakouftsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, one of Megalon Khorion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Vassilis Vakouftsis, was totally fooled by Spiliaνs BC's Dimitris Tochouroglou, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Spiliaνs BC played a much better game than Megalon Khorion and deserved their victory. The Megalon Khorion players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
