Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franco Castellini kicked off to start the match. Nestoras Maras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Tziortzopoulos in the 7th minute of play. Manos Tziortzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Maras having to interfere. Spiliaνs BC's Theodosis Karras got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baykal Aksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anastasios Xanthis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Katsipσdhion FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Makis Katsigiannis hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Dimitris Tochouroglou sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Katsipσdhion FC's Anastasios Xanthis didn't even have to move. Theodosis Karras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Tochouroglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Anastasios Xanthis made a huge save. Anastasios Xanthis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodosis Karras in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baykal Aksoy got free with Anastasios Xanthis in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasios Xanthis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodosis Karras, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Baykal Aksoy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baykal Aksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anastasios Xanthis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Spiliaνs BC got a freekick which was hit by Charilaos Kortzidis. Charilaos Kortzidis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charilaos Kortzidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charilaos Kortzidis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manos Tziortzopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Spiliaνs BC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Montes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Castellini in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasios Xanthis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Franco Castellini put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasios Xanthis. Franco Castellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Xanthis having to interfere. After some careless play in the Katsipσdhion FC defense, Charilaos Kortzidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasios Xanthis. The Katsipσdhion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasios Xanthis should have stopped the shot. Anastasios Xanthis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baykal Aksoy's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes, Adamantios Giannitsanakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katsipσdhion FC and the Spiliaνs BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Katsipσdhion FC got a freekick which was hit by Adamantios Giannitsanakis. Anastasios Xanthis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykal Aksoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute Dimitris Tochouroglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Xanthis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Dimitris Tochouroglou notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Katsipσdhion FC's Anastasios Xanthis. Anastasios Xanthis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Baykal Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodosis Karras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Xanthis having to interfere. Ntinos Nikolaidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anastasios Xanthis. Katsipσdhion FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Spiliaνs BC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
