Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marios Sferas kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Megalon Khorion's Dimitris Morikis got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 11 played minutes Megalon Khorion got a freekick which was hit by Panos Liaros. In the 13th minute Flavio Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Vakouftsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marios Sferas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Vakouftsis having to interfere. Vassilis Vakouftsis was a little too slow when Flavio Ferdinand got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Meletiakos F.C.'s Flavio Ferdinand got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Megalon Khorion's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Flavio Ferdinand 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Meletiakos F.C.'s Aggelos Pagakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vassilis Vakouftsis. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. Meletiakos F.C.'s Spyros Sardelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Sikalias in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Meletiakos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Sferas to maneuver through the defense. Megalon Khorion's Vassilis Vakouftsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Sferas in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Meletiakos F.C.'s Flavio Ferdinand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vassilis Vakouftsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marios Sferas got free with Vassilis Vakouftsis in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 47 minutes, Gelacio Percaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meletiakos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelacio Percaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Stratoulis to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Megalon Khorion defense, Gelacio Percaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Vakouftsis. The Megalon Khorion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Vakouftsis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelacio Percaz in the 64th minute of play forced Megalon Khorion's goalkeeper Vassilis Vakouftsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Megalon Khorion got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Morikis. Vassilis Vakouftsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Sferas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meletiakos F.C.'s attentive Giorgos Rapanos managed to snatch the ball when Makis Tsanaklidis made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. After 79 minutes, Iason Makris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meletiakos F.C. and the Megalon Khorion players grew even worse after the yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, Lambis Kouromichelakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meletiakos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Megalon Khorion the free kick. After 82 played minutes Meletiakos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Kouromichelakis. Flavio Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Vakouftsis having to interfere. Flavio Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vassilis Vakouftsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meletiakos F.C.. If Flavio Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Meletiakos F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
