Anastasios Xanthis was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Gerasimos Stratoulis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerasimos Stratoulis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Stefanos Gitsis charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefanos Gitsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Megalon Khorion got a freekick which was hit by Fivos Begnis. When Katsipσdhion FC's Manos Tziortzopoulos in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vassilis Vakouftsis came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Katsipσdhion FC's Manos Tziortzopoulos. But to his dismay, Manos Tziortzopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute Alkis Taktikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Vakouftsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltos Kasnaferis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Gerasimos Stratoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Xanthis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Katsipσdhion FC's goalkeeper Anastasios Xanthis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Makis Tsanaklidis. When Megalon Khorion's Gerasimos Stratoulis in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katsipσdhion FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alkis Taktikos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vassilis Vakouftsis having to make a save. Gerasimos Stratoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Xanthis having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Katsipσdhion FC's zone, Gerasimos Stratoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Xanthis came out of the goal and Gerasimos Stratoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerasimos Stratoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Makis Michailidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasios Xanthis was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Katsipσdhion FC's Anastasios Xanthis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Stratoulis in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Gerasimos Stratoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Xanthis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alkis Taktikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Katsipσdhion FC's Alkis Taktikos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitris Morikis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vassilis Vakouftsis made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alkis Taktikos sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Katsipσdhion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Pagias to maneuver through the defense. Anastasios Xanthis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerasimos Stratoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adamantios Giannitsanakis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Megalon Khorion's Dimitris Morikis got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Stefanos Gitsis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vassilis Vakouftsis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gerasimos Stratoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Megalon Khorion getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dimitris Morikis hit a great ball. The Katsipσdhion FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Megalon Khorion from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
