Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Meletiakos F.C.'s Marios Sferas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Soulis Grigoros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aggelos Thomaidis. Shamrockers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Meletiakos F.C.'s Marios Sferas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aggelos Thomaidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Shamrockers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Sferas came free, but Aggelos Thomaidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meletiakos F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Pavlos Fragatos scored to the left of an out of position Spyros Sardelis, making the score, 1-1. When Flavio Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Meletiakos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Vassilis Diamantopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shamrockers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Gelacio Percaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aggelos Thomaidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Ferdinand in the 31st minute of play. Aggelos Thomaidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marios Sferas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rdth minute of the game Marios Sferas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shamrockers FC's Aggelos Thomaidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Flavio Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Meletiakos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. A sloppy throw-in by Andreas Karopoulos in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Meletiakos F.C.'s Giorgos Rapanos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aggelos Pagakis got free with Aggelos Thomaidis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meletiakos F.C.'s Marios Sferas got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fanis Giotas took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Spyros Sardelis. Spyros Sardelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 73 minutes into the match, Meletiakos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Giotas came free, but Spyros Sardelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spyros Sardelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Giotas in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Meletiakos F.C. booed when Shamrockers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Diamantopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marios Sferas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Thomaidis having to interfere. Marios Sferas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Andreas Karopoulos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Meletiakos F.C.'s Giorgos Rapanos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aggelos Thomaidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Sferas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marios Sferas in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aggelos Thomaidis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 played minutes Meletiakos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Kouromichelakis. If Menios Kapriniotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fanis Giotas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamrockers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fanis Giotas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spyros Sardelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Shamrockers FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
