The supporters of Panetolikos booed when Likoyiαnnis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themis Vranas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestoras Saravalakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prokopis Maggioros, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Panos Mourikis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panetolikos's Kyriakos Skoulikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panetolikos's goalkeeper Kyriakos Skoulikas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prokopis Maggioros took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Saravalakos. Nestoras Saravalakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Giorgos Vardis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panetolikos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Vardis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Likoyiαnnis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Vardis came free, but Nestoras Saravalakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Mourikis struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Kyriakos Skoulikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Likoyiαnnis FC. Prokopis Maggioros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Saravalakos having to interfere. When Panos Mourikis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Likoyiαnnis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Mourikis couldn't finish the play. Kostas Anastasakis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Panos Mourikis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Likoyiαnnis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Mourikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyriakos Skoulikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Prokopis Maggioros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Likoyiαnnis FC's Nestoras Saravalakos didn't even have to move.

After 50 played minutes Likoyiαnnis FC got a freekick which was hit by Themis Vranas. Nestoras Saravalakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Vardis in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Prokopis Maggioros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Saravalakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Likoyiαnnis FC's Panos Mourikis in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panetolikos's goalie prevented a goal. Kyriakos Skoulikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Seremetidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Panetolikos's Giorgos Vardis in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Likoyiαnnis FC's Nestoras Saravalakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Vardis in the 63rd minute of play. Themis Vranas got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Themis Vranas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Nestoras Saravalakos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chatziantoniou Kolokithopoulos. Likoyiαnnis FC's Nestoras Saravalakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Vardis in the 70th minute of play. Panos Seremetidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Likoyiαnnis FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Giorgos Vardis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Panos Seremetidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Skoulikas having to interfere. Panos Seremetidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kyriakos Skoulikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Prokopis Maggioros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Likoyiαnnis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Vardis came free, but Nestoras Saravalakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Seremetidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Likoyiαnnis FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panetolikos's performance. The match ended with a win for Panetolikos.
