Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paschalis Koupepes took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaios Prokopiou got free with Makis Topalidis in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaios Prokopiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Makis Topalidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Labakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaios Prokopiou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Makis Topalidis having to make a save. Opayia's Makis Topalidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Opayia from getting a goal against them. Nikos Labakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Makis Topalidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Opayia's zone, Vaios Prokopiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makis Topalidis came out of the goal and Vaios Prokopiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Nikos Labakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skourokhσri's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Labakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makis Topalidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Opayia's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Labakis came free, but Makis Topalidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lakis Iordanidis charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lakis Iordanidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Labakis in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Makis Topalidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Opayia defense, Vaios Prokopiou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Makis Topalidis. The Opayia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Makis Topalidis should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Loukas Karpodinis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Opayia's Apostolikas Katranidis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giannis Michailidis but with some difficulty. Nikos Labakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Topalidis having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Skourokhσri's Vaios Prokopiou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makis Topalidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Paschalis Koupepes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thodoris Stergiou kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanasis Stavroulis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Makis Topalidis. Opayia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vaios Prokopiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Makis Topalidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaios Prokopiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Topalidis having to interfere. Vaios Prokopiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Makis Topalidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themos Avramidis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Lakis Iordanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opayia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Iordanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaios Prokopiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Makis Topalidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Opayia got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Iordanidis. Opayia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
