After taking down the ball on Kerasochσrion's corner Timos Bagasakos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giannis Michailidis quite easily take care of the ball. If Paris Lykoudis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kerasochσrion's Veniamin Beis got control of the ball when Vaios Prokopiou tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Labakis to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kerasochσrion's goal looked a bit too open when Loukas Karpodinis came free, but Veniamin Beis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paris Lykoudis took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Michailidis. Giannis Michailidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Vaios Prokopiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skourokhσri's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaios Prokopiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veniamin Beis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Alketas Saleas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikitas Leontokardos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giannis Michailidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikitas Leontokardos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute Nikitas Leontokardos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Michailidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Skourokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Themos Avramidis. Thanasis Stavroulis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Paris Lykoudis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Kerasochσrion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Lykoudis couldn't finish the play. Kleanthis Chalkias kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Veniamin Beis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Labakis in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Timos Bagasakos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Michailidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Kerasochσrion booed when Skourokhσri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Karpodinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerasochσrion's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
