Miltiadis Manolakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stergios Kapetanos in the 21st minute of the match. Charis Sotiriadis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The long shot by Dorotheos Mellisanidis in the 25th minute really tested Thanasis Klidis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorotheos Mellisanidis during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pálairos FC's Dorotheos Mellisanidis got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 41st minute Giorgos Platonidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltiadis Manolakoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Platonidis in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miltiadis Manolakoglou saved Pálairos FC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Stergios Kapetanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Pálairos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorotheos Mellisanidis to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Chatzios charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Chatzios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pálairos FC's Dorotheos Mellisanidis got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Vitoulades's Valentinos Poriotis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vitoulades's zone, Iason Kalomantis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Klidis came out of the goal and Iason Kalomantis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Vitoulades got a freekick which was hit by Pipis Valassopoulos. If Stergios Kapetanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentinos Poriotis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stergios Kapetanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Miltiadis Manolakoglou made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vitoulades players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
