Giannis Kalathakis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Pavlos Kourentas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ntinos Kalimeris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Black Loop's goalkeeper Ntinos Kalimeris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilias Stavropodis. Pavlos Kourentas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ntinos Kalimeris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giannis Kalathakis in the 21st minute. Ilias Stavropodis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ntinos Kalimeris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Theσktiston BC. If Ilias Stavropodis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Xanthidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tasos Raptakis in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilias Stavropodis got free with Ntinos Kalimeris in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Black Loop got a freekick which was hit by Theagenis Papafanopoulos. Pavlos Kourentas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ntinos Kalimeris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavlos Kourentas made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Black Loop's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Kourentas came free, but Ntinos Kalimeris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Valsaris during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Theσktiston BC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Loop:s goal. Ntinos Kalimeris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavlos Kourentas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tasos Raptakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilias Stavropodis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Savas Papakonstantinou hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fivos Pliagas during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Theσktiston BC booed when Black Loop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fivos Pliagas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pavlos Kourentas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Kourentas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ntinos Kalimeris having to interfere. Ntinos Kalimeris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlos Kourentas in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Takis Giannitsas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Loop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takis Giannitsas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Kourentas in the 86th minute of play forced Black Loop's goalkeeper Ntinos Kalimeris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilias Stavropodis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavlos Kourentas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ntinos Kalimeris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savas Papakonstantinou charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savas Papakonstantinou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Theσktiston BC. Akis Valsaris stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ntinos Kalimeris. 1-1. Theσktiston BC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
