The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Platonidis in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ntinos Kalimeris saved Black Loop from getting behind. The supporters of Black Loop booed when Vitoulades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Valassopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanasis Klidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tasos Raptakis in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Takis Giannitsas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Loop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takis Giannitsas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgos Platonidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ntinos Kalimeris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Theagenis Papafanopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Giorgos Platonidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitoulades's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Platonidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ntinos Kalimeris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Black Loop getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Konstantinos Tobras hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stergios Kapetanos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ntinos Kalimeris saved Black Loop from getting behind. If Takis Giannitsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Black Loop's Tasos Raptakis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Takis Giannitsas kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Vitoulades getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pipis Valassopoulos hit a great ball. Takis Giannitsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes Vitoulades got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Tremis. Takis Giannitsas spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vitoulades's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Raptakis in the 58th minute of play forced Vitoulades's goalkeeper Thanasis Klidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Takis Giannitsas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Black Loop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takis Giannitsas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Vitoulades booed when Black Loop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theagenis Papafanopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Vitoulades's Giorgos Platonidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ntinos Kalimeris. Ntinos Kalimeris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 68thth minute of the game Giorgos Platonidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Loop's Ntinos Kalimeris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Vitoulades's Giorgos Platonidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ntinos Kalimeris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fivos Pliagas fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Loop's protests and gave Fivos Pliagas a yellow card for diving instead. Fivos Pliagas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Giorgos Platonidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ntinos Kalimeris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Fivos Pliagas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stergios Kapetanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
