The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Savas Papakonstantinou during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theocharis Spyridakos lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Loop! 13 minutes into the game, Eleftherios Siozos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ntinos Kalimeris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ntinos Kalimeris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Konstantakakis in the 16th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Itιa BC's goalkeeper Ermis Kapogiannopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Takis Giannitsas. Eleftherios Siozos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ntinos Kalimeris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miltos Konstantakakis's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Miltos Konstantakakis struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ntinos Kalimeris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itιa BC. Miltos Konstantakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ntinos Kalimeris having to interfere. Takis Giannitsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermis Kapogiannopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theagenis Papafanopoulos in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Black Loop's goal looked a bit too open when Eleftherios Siozos came free, but Ntinos Kalimeris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleftherios Siozos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ntinos Kalimeris having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Itιa BC's Ntinos Kalimeris threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miltos Konstantakakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Eleftherios Siozos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nikiforos Skountouflas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Savas Papakonstantinou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Itιa BC's Vladimiros Konstantakakis tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Black Loop's zone, Miltos Konstantakakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ntinos Kalimeris came out of the goal and Miltos Konstantakakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ntinos Kalimeris came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Itιa BC's Miltos Konstantakakis. But to his dismay, Miltos Konstantakakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ntinos Kalimeris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Konstantakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Black Loop booed when Itιa BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiros Konstantakakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Itιa BC's Miltos Konstantakakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Black Loop's Ntinos Kalimeris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Black Loop from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltos Konstantakakis in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ntinos Kalimeris saved Black Loop from getting behind. Miltos Konstantakakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ntinos Kalimeris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
