Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aris Pilafis took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Apostolikas Chasiotis fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martνni's protests and gave Apostolikas Chasiotis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Apostolikas Chasiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lakis Pappas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Vogiatzis in the 9th minute of play. Themistoklis Kalivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Giorgos Vogiatzis made a precise shot to the right of Lakis Pappas. Martνni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Themistoklis Kalivas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Giannis Chatzipetris 27 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Aris Pilafis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandhαli BC and the Martνni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Sandhαli BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Pilafis to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Martνni's Iraklis Kalakos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Martνni's Andreas Kalabokis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Chatzipetris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giorgos Vogiatzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Pappas having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Themistoklis Kalivas got free with Giannis Chatzipetris in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Petros Mamalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandhαli BC's Giorgos Vogiatzis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Sandhαli BC's Giannis Chatzipetris got control of the ball when Themistoklis Kalivas tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Kalabokis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martνni's Themistoklis Kalivas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Sandhαli BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Pilafis to maneuver through the defense. Sandhαli BC's Giannis Chatzipetris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themistoklis Kalivas in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Kalabokis in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Chatzipetris saved Sandhαli BC from getting behind. With a little luck, Martνni's Lakis Pappas got control of the ball when Giorgos Vogiatzis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Martνni booed when Sandhαli BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Pilafis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Andreas Kalabokis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Giorgos Vogiatzis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sandhαli BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Vogiatzis couldn't finish the play. Giannis Chatzipetris came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Martνni's Themistoklis Kalivas. But to his dismay, Themistoklis Kalivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Giorgos Vogiatzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
