Golden Eagle FC's Loukas Chatziaggelis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Babbis Ligouras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lakis Pappas made a huge save. Martνni's Lakis Pappas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Kassiantidis in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Babbis Ligouras made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Martνni's Lakis Pappas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lakis Pappas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With a little luck, Martνni's Lakis Pappas got control of the ball when Theocharis Vergos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakis Pappas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theocharis Vergos went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Ligouras was the one to do the kick off. Lakis Pappas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Ligouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Eagle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paris Kassiantidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Golden Eagle FC's protests and gave Theodosis Memos a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Golden Eagle FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
