Evaggelos Tochouroglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Savas Nassiakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sotiris Liolios. Zalogkon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Savas Nassiakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Christos Tziolis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Christodoulos Katsikas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Zalogkon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christodoulos Katsikas couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Zalogkon got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Fragopoulos. 27 minutes into the game, Babbis Partalakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Evaggelos Tochouroglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evaggelos Tochouroglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christodoulos Katsikas in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Viktoras Iosifakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexander the Great's Evaggelos Tochouroglou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexander the Great's goalkeeper Evaggelos Tochouroglou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Zalogkon were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Babbis Partalakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Evaggelos Tochouroglou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 59 minutes, Babbis Partalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zalogkon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Partalakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christodoulos Katsikas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaggelos Tochouroglou. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. Christodoulos Katsikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander the Great's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Christodoulos Katsikas scored to the left of an out of position Evaggelos Tochouroglou, making the score, 1-4. In the 82nd match minute, Alexander the Great was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkaios Theodosiou to maneuver through the defense. Evaggelos Tochouroglou acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sakis Mikros. Babbis Partalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evaggelos Tochouroglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christodoulos Katsikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Tochouroglou having to interfere. The Alexander the Great fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zalogkon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
