Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stavros Malesios made the kick off which started today's match. Vlassis Karagiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vaggelis Mentis might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Soulis Christakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Mentis ran back to his position shaking his head. Stratos Labaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Dimitrakos in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Kerame got a freekick which was hit by Louis Dimitrakos. Stratos Labaras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Dimitrakos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Kerame's Louis Dimitrakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Labaras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerame's goalkeeper Soulis Christakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ypsos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vaggelis Antoniadis in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerasimos Tsilikos during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, Ypsos's Gerasimos Tsilikos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soulis Christakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soulis Christakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Mentis in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Kerame's Louis Dimitrakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Labaras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soulis Christakis was a little too slow when Gerasimos Tsilikos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gerasimos Tsilikos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Soulis Christakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerasimos Tsilikos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. Kerame's Louis Dimitrakos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stavros Malesios kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Gerasimos Tsilikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Soulis Christakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Tsilikos to make the kick off. The Kerame fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soulis Christakis should have stopped the shot. Ypsos's Stratos Labaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Malesios in the 58th minute of play. If Louis Dimitrakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Stavros Malesios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Labaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Kerame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Kounalakis to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Mentis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Soulis Christakis having to make a save. Gerasimos Tsilikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Soulis Christakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aimilios Pantazis came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ypsos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimilios Pantazis couldn't finish the play. Louis Dimitrakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Ypsos's goal looked a bit too open when Nestoras Zervoulakos came free, but Stratos Labaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerasimos Tsilikos took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soulis Christakis. Soulis Christakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ypsos had played much better football throughout.
