Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ntinos Kyriakopoulos made the kick off which started today's match. Makis Liberis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Grevenνta's goal looked a bit too open when Ntinos Kyriakopoulos came free, but Sotos Lagizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sotos Lagizos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ntinos Kyriakopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grevenνta's Sotos Lagizos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Tremis in the 14th minute of play. Theofanis Theodorakoglou made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Makis Liberis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 20 minutes, Fondas Kalafatis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grevenνta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fondas Kalafatis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fondas Kalafatis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Theodorakoglou having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Dorotheos Provatas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotos Lagizos skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Grevenνta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Panos Fotakis hit a great ball. If Fondas Kalafatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Makis Liberis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Theofanis Theodorakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theofanis Theodorakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Makis Liberis in the 35th minute of the match. Makis Liberis might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theofanis Theodorakoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Makis Liberis ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Lizard F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Kalafatis came free, but Theofanis Theodorakoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Grevenνta's Sotos Lagizos got control of the ball when Giorgos Tremis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fondas Kalafatis might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theofanis Theodorakoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fondas Kalafatis ran back to his position shaking his head. Theofanis Theodorakoglou came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Grevenνta's Makis Liberis. But to his dismay, Makis Liberis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Daniil Prasinos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grevenνta's protests and gave Daniil Prasinos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grevenνta getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eustratios Poursaitidis hit a great ball. Sotos Lagizos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Tremis in the 71st minute. Grevenνta's Makis Liberis got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Charis Kiassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tilemachos Saravakos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Sotos Lagizos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lizard F.C.. 85 minutes into the match, Grevenνta's goal looked a bit too open when Ntinos Kyriakopoulos came free, but Sotos Lagizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lizard F.C.'s Ntinos Kyriakopoulos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Grevenνta players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
