Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Orestis Kousounadis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Kothonνkion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Ntinopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Argyris Ntinopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akis Simeonidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kostas Kanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kothonνkion FC's Anestis Platis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Kazanis in the 12th minute of play. Sotos Psifidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veniamin Mavrostomos during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Age Of Empires getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Veniamin Mavrostomos hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Diogenis Nikolakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kothonνkion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogenis Nikolakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kothonνkion FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Kothonνkion FC's Sotos Psifidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Sotos Psifidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akis Simeonidis was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sotos Psifidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Akis Simeonidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Kanakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kostas Kanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akis Simeonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotos Psifidis in the 37th minute of play. Kostas Kanakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Akis Simeonidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotos Psifidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Kanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akis Simeonidis having to interfere. Kostas Kanakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Age Of Empires's zone, Sotos Psifidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akis Simeonidis came out of the goal and Sotos Psifidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Age Of Empires's Vaggelis Kitrinidis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kostas Kanakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Kothonνkion FC's Kostas Kanakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akis Simeonidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Age Of Empires's Akis Simeonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotos Psifidis in the 79th minute of play. Akis Simeonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotos Psifidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veniamin Mavrostomos got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kothonνkion FC's Nestoras Rokkas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Akis Simeonidis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Age Of Empires's goal looked a bit too open when Sotos Psifidis came free, but Akis Simeonidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akis Simeonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotos Psifidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Kothonνkion FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
