In the 6th match minute, Tsákoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolikas Vlassopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Markos Loubardeas took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fragiskos Adamopoulos. Fragiskos Adamopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ermis Batsinilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Samaropoulos having to interfere. Stelios Papadimitriou was slow to take the kick. During this time Tsákoi FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Galarinσs's zone, Ermis Batsinilas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Samaropoulos came out of the goal and Ermis Batsinilas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermis Batsinilas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Fanis Samaropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsákoi FC. The audience was convinced that Ermis Batsinilas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fanis Samaropoulos was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
