Zoryiani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pipis Nestoriou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Elefthéri booed when Zoryiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Tirogalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fotis Rousseas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Elefthéri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorotheos Leontakis to maneuver through the defense. Zacharias Dimakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Fotis Rousseas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Dadamis to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Thomas Dadamis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoryiani's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Dadamis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panos Giannopoulos's late challenge caught a Elefthéri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Giannopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Panos Giannopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Giorgos Kouveliotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Dimakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fotis Rousseas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Giorgos Kouveliotis made a huge save. If Thomas Dadamis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markos Grigoratos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Zoryiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Grigoratos to maneuver through the defense. Elefthéri's Odysseas Kalapodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Dadamis in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Christos Keris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elefthéri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zoryiani the free kick. After a rather tough play, Elefthéri's Christos Keris got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Zoryiani got a corner. Elefthéri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefanos Siapkas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Zoryiani's corner Stefanos Siapkas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Odysseas Kalapodas quite easily take care of the ball. There was no doubt that Zoryiani were the better team. Zoryiani's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
