The referee ignored Diavata's protests and gave Theofilos Pirtsos a yellow card for diving instead. Theofilos Pirtsos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theofilos Pirtsos to make the kick off. Paraskevas Patistas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
