Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marinos Vokolos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Babbis Siozos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazaros Vourlis struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Makis Ikonomou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OntinIce. With a little luck, OntinIce's Lambros Spazokefalos got control of the ball when Petros Ploumoudis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazaros Vourlis in the 26th minute of play forced Aris FC's goalkeeper Makis Ikonomou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lazaros Vourlis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Dimosthenis Macheridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Ikonomou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aggelos Tsagaropoulos in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Makis Ikonomou saved Aris FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimitris Xidianakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lambros Spazokefalos. That made the score 1-2 in the 32 minute of play. Aris FC's Makis Ikonomou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimosthenis Macheridis in the 36th minute of play. Aggelos Tsagaropoulos took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Makis Ikonomou. Makis Ikonomou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half OntinIce were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aris FC's Makis Ikonomou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Aris FC from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Lazaros Vourlis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OntinIce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 62 minutes into the match, Lazaros Vourlis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makis Ikonomou. Aris FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lazaros Vourlis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 65 minutes into the match, OntinIce's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Siozos came free, but Lambros Spazokefalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, OntinIce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Tsagaropoulos to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, OntinIce's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Siozos came free, but Lambros Spazokefalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The excitement rose when Aris FC's Petros Ploumoudis after 75 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for OntinIce's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-6. OntinIce's Lazaros Vourlis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lambros Spazokefalos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aris FC's Marinos Vokolos. But to his dismay, Marinos Vokolos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. When Lazaros Vourlis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the OntinIce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazaros Vourlis couldn't finish the play. Makis Ikonomou didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 3-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazaros Vourlis got free with Makis Ikonomou in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aggelos Tsagaropoulos in the 92nd minute of play forced Aris FC's goalkeeper Makis Ikonomou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris FC's Makis Ikonomou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Aris FC from getting a goal against them. Makis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Tsagaropoulos in the 95th minute of play. Lazaros Vourlis came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Makis Ikonomou could save by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched OntinIce eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
