Polystαfyllon's Grigoris Stavropoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Polystαfyllon from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Polystαfyllon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Babbis Kounetas hit a great ball. The supporters of Polystαfyllon booed when Keratsini F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theagenis Papoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evripidis Fanatos hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sakis Kotsias shot a long shot in the 15th minute and a light blocked Grigoris Stavropoulos hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. In the 20th play minute Errikos Soufrilas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Grigoris Stavropoulos. 2-1. Polystαfyllon's Grigoris Stavropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theagenis Papoulis in the 27th minute of play. Thodoris Stefanoglou took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigoris Stavropoulos. Grigoris Stavropoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Konstantinos Skapaneas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Valsamis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nontas Antoniadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valerios Valsamis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantinos Skapaneas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 49 minutes, Valerios Valsamis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polystαfyllon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valerios Valsamis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valerios Valsamis to make the kick off. When Polystαfyllon's Nontas Antoniadis in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sakis Kotsias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grigoris Stavropoulos. Polystαfyllon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alexandros Digozis charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandros Digozis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Keratsini F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polystαfyllon:s goal. The referee gave Polystαfyllon a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vaios Katsanikos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Keratsini F.C.'s Konstantinos Skapaneas. 3-2. Errikos Soufrilas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigoris Stavropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Polystαfyllon's Valerios Valsamis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Stefanoglou during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Keratsini F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Stefanoglou. Konstantinos Skapaneas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Valerios Valsamis sent off a good shot on target. Nontas Antoniadis scored 3-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Skapaneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigoris Stavropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theagenis Papoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Polystαfyllon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
