Stefanos fc's Nikos Kosmas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renos Varakis in the 3rd minute of play. Renos Varakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Kosmas came out and tried to block the shot, but Renos Varakis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Stefanos fc's Chatziantoniou Giannakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fanis Tritsonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Renos Varakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lefteris Mitrou kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Renos Varakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stefanos fc's Nikos Kosmas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Renos Varakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kosmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's Lefteris Mitrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikos Kosmas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes PAOK FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Baskakis. In the 31st minute of the match Iosif Markogiannakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fanis Tritsonis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Stefanos fc's goalkeeper Nikos Kosmas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lefteris Mitrou. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alketas Kapeliotis in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Kosmas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lefteris Mitrou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Nikos Kosmas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lefteris Mitrou to make the kick off. Nikos Kosmas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefteris Mitrou in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match PAOK FC got a corner. Stefanos fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lefteris Mitrou ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Giannis Kostenoglou heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Lefteris Mitrou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikos Kosmas was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Nikos Kosmas came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by PAOK FC's Lefteris Mitrou. But to his dismay, Lefteris Mitrou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 68thth minute of the game Renos Varakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stefanos fc's Nikos Kosmas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lefteris Mitrou succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Sotiris Menegakis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Fanis Tritsonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Giannakopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Kostas Ziogas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stefanos fc's zone, Lefteris Mitrou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Kosmas came out of the goal and Lefteris Mitrou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renos Varakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nikos Kosmas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lefteris Mitrou in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Kosmas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Stefanos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Renos Varakis came free, but Nikos Kosmas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PAOK FC had played much better football throughout.
