Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Lefteris Mitrou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Grigoris Stavropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefteris Mitrou in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Theofanis Garpozis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 8 minutes, Renos Varakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAOK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renos Varakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grigoris Stavropoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lefteris Mitrou went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lefteris Mitrou in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoris Stavropoulos saved Polystαfyllon from getting behind. Babbis Kounetas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Renos Varakis got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Grigoris Stavropoulos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fanis Tritsonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Antoniadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lefteris Mitrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Lefteris Mitrou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polystαfyllon's Grigoris Stavropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute Renos Varakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Stavropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Polystαfyllon got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Valsamis. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lefteris Mitrou to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Polystαfyllon's goalkeeper Grigoris Stavropoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lefteris Mitrou didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 54th minute. PAOK FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 62nd minute, Stavros Vourousakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Babbis Kounetas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polystαfyllon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAOK FC the free kick. Babbis Kounetas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Stavros Vourousakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polystαfyllon and the PAOK FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Lefteris Mitrou sped through Polystαfyllon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grigoris Stavropoulos. In the 78thth minute of the game Valerios Valsamis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Fanis Tritsonis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Valerios Valsamis came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Polystαfyllon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valerios Valsamis couldn't finish the play. In the last second Grigoris Stavropoulos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Renos Varakis in the 84thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Polystαfyllon's goal looked a bit too open when Renos Varakis came free, but Grigoris Stavropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Renos Varakis put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Grigoris Stavropoulos. If Lefteris Mitrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PAOK FC played a much better game than Polystαfyllon and deserved their victory. The Polystαfyllon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
