Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Fanis Mantarinopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkinoos Pechlivanis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Thodoris Pantazakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkinoos Pechlivanis having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, pontioi kasiteron's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Mantarinopoulos came free, but Alkinoos Pechlivanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Louis Lazarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Argyris Chatzas was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thodoris Pantazakos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alexandros Kottidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. pontioi kasiteron's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Kottidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Argyris Chatzas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pestani's Thodoris Pantazakos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fanis Mantarinopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkinoos Pechlivanis having to interfere. Argyris Chatzas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Lazarakis in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louis Lazarakis to make the kick off. Fanis Mantarinopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Thodoris Pantazakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pestani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thodoris Pantazakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thodoris Pantazakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fanis Mantarinopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pestani's Giorgos Moustakis suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Adamantios Tsiartas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adamantios Tsiartas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adamantios Tsiartas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Alkinoos Pechlivanis came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Pestani's Thodoris Pantazakos. But to his dismay, Thodoris Pantazakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Thodoris Pantazakos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pestani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thodoris Pantazakos couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Pestani were the better team. Pestani's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
