The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Karagrigoriou got free with Giorgos Kolitsidakis in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giannis Vakaloglou struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Panos Dellios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ida. In the 10thth minute of the game Giannis Vakaloglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but coffeeland's Panos Dellios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panos Dellios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Bollos in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Giannis Vakaloglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but coffeeland's Panos Dellios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apostolikas Varveris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Giorgos Kolitsidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Ida's goalkeeper Giorgos Kolitsidakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Karagrigoriou. After having played for 28 minutes, Giannis Vakaloglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Vakaloglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Bollos in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panos Dellios saved coffeeland from getting behind. Giorgos Kolitsidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolikas Varveris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Ida's Giannis Vakaloglou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Dellios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolikas Varveris in the 40th minute of play forced Ida's goalkeeper Giorgos Kolitsidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panos Dellios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Vakaloglou in the 46th minute of play. Charis Bollos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panos Dellios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. In the 49th minute of the match Ida got a corner. coffeeland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alkinoos Skalidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ida's Alkinoos Skalidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Panos Dellios despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apostolikas Varveris to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonis Pavloulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Dellios having to interfere. If Andreas Karagrigoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apostolikas Varveris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Giorgos Kolitsidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charis Bollos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind coffeeland's goalkeeper Panos Dellios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panos Dellios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Bollos in the 80th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Ida's Giannis Vakaloglou made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Dellios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giannis Vakaloglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
