One of Koukoϊlia BC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boϊmbouka FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Boϊmbouka FC's Zinon Koukoglou got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Akakios Lazariadis. Dorotheos Ntaraklitsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Loukas Sikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorotheos Ntaraklitsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiros Charidis charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the Boϊmbouka FC and the Koukoϊlia BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loukas Sikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorotheos Ntaraklitsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Iliopoulos in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loukas Sikas saved Boϊmbouka FC from getting behind. Babbis Iliopoulos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Babbis Iliopoulos sped through Boϊmbouka FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loukas Sikas. Loukas Sikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Iliopoulos in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Giannakopoulos was the one to do the kick off. If Dorotheos Ntaraklitsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukas Sikas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babbis Iliopoulos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Babbis Iliopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loukas Sikas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babbis Iliopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Boϊmbouka FC's Loukas Sikas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Boϊmbouka FC from getting a goal against them. If Simos Kourkoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukas Sikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorotheos Ntaraklitsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dorotheos Palaviaris took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akakios Lazariadis. Akakios Lazariadis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Babbis Iliopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Loukas Sikas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Boϊmbouka FC could leave the field as winners, despite Koukoϊlia BC having more of the ball for most of the match.
