But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Patrinos couldn't finish the play. Eustratios Poursanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akakios Lazariadis having to interfere. Koukoϊlia BC's Akakios Lazariadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Fraco in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Leonardo Fraco made a precise shot to the right of Akakios Lazariadis. Koukoϊlia BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 30 minutes of play, Koukoϊlia BC's Babbis Iliopoulos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alkaios Tatsis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonis Matsoukis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Babbis Iliopoulos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkaios Tatsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th play minute Grigoris Samarakos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alkaios Tatsis. 2-1. If Babbis Iliopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkaios Tatsis was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Anastasios Baxevanis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anastasios Baxevanis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Babbis Iliopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Akakios Lazariadis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Giorgos Papakosmas. Váltoi's Alkaios Tatsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasios Baxevanis in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Váltoi!
