Evripidis Kalabakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manos Vouzounerakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes in the game, Dionysis Spetzopoulos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zacharias Lagizos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dionysis Spetzopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artemis's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionysis Spetzopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacharias Lagizos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 46 minutes, Marios Ntouvarelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Tigris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Avgónima's zone, Evripidis Kalabakas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacharias Lagizos came out of the goal and Evripidis Kalabakas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodosis Zisopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Tigris in the 59th minute of play. Zacharias Lagizos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Spetzopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Avgónima's goal looked a bit too open when Dionysis Spetzopoulos came free, but Zacharias Lagizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stavros Zotalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zacharias Lagizos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionysis Spetzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacharias Lagizos having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Artemis's Evripidis Kalabakas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacharias Lagizos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dionysis Spetzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
