When Aggelos Kallivrousis came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Kallivrousis couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Dimos Megalios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercan Beyhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Chatziantoniou Theodoratos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mega Kazavition and the ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aggelos Kallivrousis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alekos Chatzipanagis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Mega Kazavition's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Kallivrousis came free, but Alekos Chatzipanagis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Chatzipanagis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aggelos Kallivrousis's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's Ercan Beyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Gaitatzis in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aggelos Kallivrousis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alekos Chatzipanagis saved Mega Kazavition from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Giannis Markomichalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mega Kazavition's Alekos Chatzipanagis got control of the ball when Petros Karsiotis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Petros Karsiotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Karsiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 44 in the game by Petros Karsiotis from a close distance when the talented Alekos Chatzipanagis managed to make a qualified save. Mega Kazavition's players were relieved. Ercan Beyhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimos Megalios in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aggelos Kallivrousis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Aggelos Kallivrousis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mega Kazavition's Alekos Chatzipanagis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's Petros Karsiotis got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aggelos Kallivrousis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Chatzipanagis having to interfere. Thalis Kechribaris charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thalis Kechribaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS booed when Mega Kazavition was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Kechribaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aggelos Kallivrousis in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alekos Chatzipanagis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mega Kazavition defense, Petros Karsiotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alekos Chatzipanagis. The Mega Kazavition fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alekos Chatzipanagis should have stopped the shot. Petros Karsiotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alekos Chatzipanagis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aggelos Kallivrousis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Chatzipanagis having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Mega Kazavition was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Georgakis to maneuver through the defense. Eustratios Doulkeroglou was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mega Kazavition's Babbis Georgakis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eustratios Doulkeroglou in the 96th minute. ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
