After 6 played minutes KITRINOI DIABOLOI got a freekick which was hit by Nektarios Dentzas. In the 11th match minute, Trikala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orestis Symeonas to maneuver through the defense. Eutichios Kisemlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Kalioras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Viktoras Kazatzis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save KITRINOI DIABOLOI from getting a goal against them. Eutichios Kisemlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nektarios Dentzas in the 25th minute of play. Omiros Nikologiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Viktoras Kazatzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Kosmas Palavos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Omiros Nikologiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktoras Kazatzis having to interfere. Thalis Konstantaras struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Viktoras Kazatzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trikala. Eutichios Kisemlis came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Stathis Kalioras. But to his dismay, Stathis Kalioras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Omiros Nikologiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Viktoras Kazatzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omiros Nikologiannis was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Kosmas Palavos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KITRINOI DIABOLOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kosmas Palavos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thalis Konstantaras might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktoras Kazatzis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thalis Konstantaras ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omiros Nikologiannis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktoras Kazatzis saved KITRINOI DIABOLOI from getting behind. KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Viktoras Kazatzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Konstantaras in the 65th minute of play. If Thalis Konstantaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trikala's Eutichios Kisemlis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Trikala from getting a goal against them. Thalis Konstantaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktoras Kazatzis having to make a save. After 77 played minutes Trikala got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Batsidis. Eutichios Kisemlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Kalioras, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Thalis Konstantaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Viktoras Kazatzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thalis Konstantaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktoras Kazatzis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omiros Nikologiannis in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Omiros Nikologiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktoras Kazatzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Omiros Nikologiannis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KITRINOI DIABOLOI's Viktoras Kazatzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KITRINOI DIABOLOI were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Trikala's much stronger midfield.
