Theofanis Arnidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giotis Papakostakis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Valerios Panopoulos. The audience was convinced that Christos Ioannidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giotis Papakostakis was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Stefanos Georgiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolauzlϊ's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefanos Georgiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omiros Tsiafkaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liyiá's Omiros Tsiafkaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Kassianidis in the 71st minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 played minutes Kolauzlϊ got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Nalbantis. After having played for 90 minutes, Stefanos Georgiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolauzlϊ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefanos Georgiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes, Liyiá's Nikiforos Aggelidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giotis Papakostakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liyiá reached it. Giotis Papakostakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Ioannidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
