Spectators: 4860 (Terracing: 4106, Seating: 654, VIP seats: 100) Iraklis Andriolas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iordanis Poniridis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chrisostomos Seferis's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metamσrfosi's goalkeeper Iordanis Poniridis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Metamσrfosi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lakis Kostatos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Metamσrfosi's zone, Fragiskos Moras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordanis Poniridis came out of the goal and Fragiskos Moras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chrisostomos Seferis struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Iordanis Poniridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DODONI EAGLES. In the 16th match minute, DODONI EAGLES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Rawa to maneuver through the defense. Ludomil Smolarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordanis Poniridis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Metamσrfosi's Minas Stamatopoulos got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Pantelis Tsagris fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metamσrfosi's protests and gave Pantelis Tsagris a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Metamσrfosi getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pantelis Tsagris hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Nikos Karafotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DODONI EAGLES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metamσrfosi the free kick. After 30 played minutes DODONI EAGLES got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Karafotis. After 34 played minutes Metamσrfosi got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Petkaris. Metamσrfosi's Iordanis Poniridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukas Massoutas in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iordanis Poniridis. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. DODONI EAGLES's Ludomil Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DODONI EAGLES's Ermis Patinios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Andriolas in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Chrisostomos Seferis put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iordanis Poniridis. In the 60thth minute of the game Chrisostomos Seferis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metamσrfosi's Iordanis Poniridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Metamσrfosi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pantelis Tsagris hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilias Petkaris during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Metamσrfosi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Petkaris to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Karafotis got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes DODONI EAGLES got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Karafotis. DODONI EAGLES's Loukas Massoutas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iraklis Andriolas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Chrisostomos Seferis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metamσrfosi's Iordanis Poniridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrisostomos Seferis in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chrisostomos Seferis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordanis Poniridis was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Chrisostomos Seferis in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Iordanis Poniridis came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by DODONI EAGLES's Kajetan Rawa. But to his dismay, Kajetan Rawa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Chrisostomos Seferis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the DODONI EAGLES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chrisostomos Seferis couldn't finish the play. Loukas Massoutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Poniridis having to interfere. DODONI EAGLES walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
