Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PAO FC's Errikos Merganiotis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Iraklis Andriolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metamσrfosi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Andriolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstantinos Sgouros hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PAO FC's Kostas Marinopoulos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Themos Symeonakis made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Minas Stamatopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Iraklis Andriolas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pantelis Tsagris's late challenge caught a PAO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pantelis Tsagris helped the player get up and apologised. Pantelis Tsagris hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Minas Stamatopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Themos Symeonakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minas Stamatopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Errikos Merganiotis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iordanis Poniridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Minas Stamatopoulos in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Themos Symeonakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Themos Symeonakis made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Minas Stamatopoulos sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iraklis Andriolas to strike the kick off in the second half. Zisis Kalenteridis's late challenge caught a PAO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zisis Kalenteridis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PAO FC booed when Metamσrfosi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zisis Kalenteridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spyros Begnis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iordanis Poniridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordanis Poniridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errikos Merganiotis in the 56th minute of play. Iraklis Andriolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themos Symeonakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iraklis Andriolas ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Iraklis Andriolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metamσrfosi's supporters rose to their feet, but Iraklis Andriolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Themos Symeonakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Iraklis Andriolas made a precise shot to the right of Themos Symeonakis. PAO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to PAO FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Louis Koromilas hit a great ball. Metamσrfosi were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after PAO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manolis Romanopoulos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Manolis Romanopoulos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Themos Symeonakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Themos Symeonakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minas Stamatopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iraklis Andriolas in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themos Symeonakis saved PAO FC from getting behind. After 91 played minutes, Metamσrfosi's Ilias Petkaris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Themos Symeonakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metamσrfosi reached it. Manolis Romanopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Louis Koromilas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iordanis Poniridis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iordanis Poniridis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Spyros Begnis in the 95th minute. In the 97th match minute, PAO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Marinopoulos to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Metamσrfosi fully deserved thier win.
