The supporters of Thriamvos Athinon booed when DODONI EAGLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Massoutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aggelos Perperidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chrisostomos Seferis's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Giotis Krikos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aggelos Perperidis skillfully saved the ball. Ludomil Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Perperidis having to interfere. Aggelos Perperidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomil Smolarek's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The DODONI EAGLES fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Fotakos in the 45th minute of play forced DODONI EAGLES's goalkeeper Ermis Patinios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46th play minutes Chrisostomos Seferis shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Aggelos Perperidis and just under the crossbar into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chrisostomos Seferis in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aggelos Perperidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
