That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saronikos FC's zone, Michalis Petriniotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stathis Agapoulis came out of the goal and Michalis Petriniotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Wizard Spells FC defense, Stratos Tanalias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markos Kounenakis. The Wizard Spells FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markos Kounenakis should have stopped the shot. Stathis Agapoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Petriniotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Viktoras Tsakiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Agapoulis having to interfere. Stratos Tanalias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wizard Spells FC's Michalis Petriniotis got a free kick in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iordanis Frantzeskos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markos Kounenakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stratos Tanalias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michalis Petriniotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Agapoulis having to interfere. Stratos Tanalias struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Markos Kounenakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saronikos FC. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Alexis Kerkidis took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Markos Kounenakis to make any attempt to save it. Markos Kounenakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Kerkidis in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Michalis Petriniotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wizard Spells FC and the Saronikos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Wizard Spells FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Petriniotis to maneuver through the defense. Wizard Spells FC's Markos Kounenakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Kerkidis in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Alexis Kerkidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markos Kounenakis. Alexis Kerkidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Stratos Tanalias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kounenakis having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michalis Petriniotis was the one to do the kick off. Notis Koutsoureas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kounenakis having to interfere. Viktoras Tsakiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saronikos FC's Alexis Kerkidis got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alexis Kerkidis came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Saronikos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Kerkidis couldn't finish the play. Markos Kounenakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Kerkidis in the 66th minute of the match. Saronikos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manos Tsolakopoulos in the 73rd minute. Manos Tsolakopoulos made a great header on Saronikos FC's corner, it was just that Wizard Spells FC's Markos Kounenakis managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Stergios Vassaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saronikos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stergios Vassaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Tsakiris in the 92nd minute of play forced Saronikos FC's goalkeeper Stathis Agapoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktoras Tsakiris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stathis Agapoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saronikos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
