Stathis Agapoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errikos Merganiotis in the 3rd minute of play. If Errikos Merganiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Stratos Tanalias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Symeonakis having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Saronikos FC got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Vassaras. When Saronikos FC's Stratos Tanalias in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Themos Symeonakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Kerkidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stathis Agapoulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Errikos Merganiotis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errikos Merganiotis in the 24th minute of play forced Saronikos FC's goalkeeper Stathis Agapoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stratos Tanalias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Themos Symeonakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 40 minutes Saronikos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marinos Galopoulos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marinos Galopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saronikos FC's Stathis Agapoulis did a great save. When Saronikos FC's Alexis Kerkidis in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis Kerkidis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Stratos Tanalias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Themos Symeonakis, 0-1. 57 minutes into the game, PAO FC's Spyros Begnis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stathis Agapoulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Menelaos Anastasopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Menelaos Anastasopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PAO FC's Menelaos Anastasopoulos got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Manos Tsolakopoulos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PAO FC's Themos Symeonakis didn't even have to move. Stratos Tanalias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stratos Tanalias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Themos Symeonakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stratos Tanalias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Symeonakis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saronikos FC's Notis Koutsoureas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Saronikos FC's Stathis Agapoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Begnis in the 79th minute of play. Stathis Agapoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Merganiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spyros Begnis took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stathis Agapoulis. Stathis Agapoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Spyros Begnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Agapoulis having to interfere. Stathis Agapoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Merganiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Spyros Begnis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Agapoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PAO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saronikos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
