Spectators: 7591 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. DODONI EAGLES's Ludomil Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Chrisostomos Seferis managed to get in a good position for a shot. DODONI EAGLES's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Seferis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markos Kounenakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chrisostomos Seferis in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markos Kounenakis saved Wizard Spells FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Chrisostomos Seferis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markos Kounenakis was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Wizard Spells FC's Markos Kounenakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrisostomos Seferis in the 14th minute of play. Markos Kounenakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomil Smolarek in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Michalis Petriniotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wizard Spells FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DODONI EAGLES the free kick. Markos Kounenakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Smolarek in the 20th minute of play. When DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Loukas Massoutas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Fragiskos Moras fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DODONI EAGLES's protests and gave Fragiskos Moras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Fragiskos Moras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajetan Rawa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markos Kounenakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Chrisostomos Seferis scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markos Kounenakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Chrisostomos Seferis made the kick off in the second half. Ludomil Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kounenakis having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomil Smolarek couldn't finish the play. Ludomil Smolarek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markos Kounenakis having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Chrisostomos Seferis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DODONI EAGLES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Fragiskos Moras hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With his leg Markos Kounenakis managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chrisostomos Seferis got free with Markos Kounenakis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markos Kounenakis came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by DODONI EAGLES's Chrisostomos Seferis. But to his dismay, Chrisostomos Seferis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Markos Kounenakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Smolarek in the 99th minute of play. When the match was over DODONI EAGLES could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wizard Spells FC throughout the match.
