Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christos Karalexopoulos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thriamvos Athinon's Aggelos Perperidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Tanalias in the 2nd minute of play. Stathis Agapoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Karalexopoulos in the 6th minute of play. Aggelos Perperidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stratos Tanalias's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Notis Koutsoureas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Thriamvos Athinon's Markos Fotakos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stathis Agapoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Nikolakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thriamvos Athinon's Aggelos Perperidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Tanalias in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Stratos Tanalias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Perperidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stergios Vassaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Thriamvos Athinon booed when Saronikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Tanalias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Christos Karalexopoulos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stathis Agapoulis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aggelos Perperidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordanis Frantzeskos in the 39th minute of play. Stathis Agapoulis was a little too slow when Christos Karalexopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. Christos Karalexopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Agapoulis having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 62nd match minute, Thriamvos Athinon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giotis Chatziioannou to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Saronikos FC's Manos Tsolakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aggelos Perperidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Stratos Tanalias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Iordanis Frantzeskos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saronikos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thriamvos Athinon the free kick. Christos Karalexopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Agapoulis having to interfere. If Markos Fotakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Christos Karalexopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Agapoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Karalexopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stathis Agapoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Thriamvos Athinon failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
