In the 6th minute Stergios Theodoridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Tolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Theagenis Nioplias fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirikαri FC's protests and gave Theagenis Nioplias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Sirikαri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theagenis Nioplias to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Sirikαri FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pipis Papakonstantinou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 37th minute of the match Tilemachos Andreadakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Tolino skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Sirikαri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleftherios Vrettakos came free, but Thanos Sabrakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Stergios Theodoridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Giannis Kalamatas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Servotá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Kalamatas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Kalamatass short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Thanos Sabrakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ntinos Sakalis made a kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giannis Kalamatas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Pipis Papakonstantinou put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Servotá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute.
