Pelasgiotida's Theagenis Iatrakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Pelasgiotida from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Pelasgiotida's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Fotoulis came free, but Theagenis Iatrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pelasgiotida's Charalambos Papaevaggelou got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Symeonas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trifon Papoutsis scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Pedersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Pelasgiotida's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Mantas came free, but Theagenis Iatrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Iatrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Fotoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 99 minutes in the game, Dimitris Symeonas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ulf Pedersson having to interfere.
