A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, mpookles's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Symeonas came free, but Kostas Kazantzakoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manos Kifonidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theagenis Iatrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Moraitidis in the 37th minute of play. When Avraam Papamichail fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelasgiotida's protests and gave Avraam Papamichail a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Avraam Papamichail hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panos Michas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Theagenis Iatrakis. Pelasgiotida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute, one of Pelasgiotida:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pelasgiotida. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dimitris Symeonas made the kick off in the second half. If Panagiotis Moraitidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trifon Papoutsis in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Kazantzakoglou saved mpookles from getting behind. Pelasgiotida's Dimitris Symeonas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Pelasgiotida got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Papoutsis. Panagiotis Moraitidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theagenis Iatrakis having to make a save. Panagiotis Moraitidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theagenis Iatrakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Manos Kifonidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theagenis Iatrakis having to interfere. With a little luck, Pelasgiotida's Theagenis Iatrakis got control of the ball when Manos Kifonidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Trifon Papoutsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosmas Manikas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
