In the 49th minute, Achladéai FC's Christoforos Tzanakakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Panos Athanasiou. Panos Athanasiou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markos Ioannidis made a kick off. Panos Athanasiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoforos Tzanakakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Dimitris Tirovolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Moschogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Bakalakos replaced Dimitris Tirovolas. Paris Koronas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stamatis Spetsarias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Achladéai FC's Dimos Tzavelas got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to ΑΟ Φιλέλληνες Πέτα getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Kostas Tsoros hit a great ball. Ignatios Moschogiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Spetsarias in the 98th minute of the match. ΑΟ Φιλέλληνες Πέτα's Michalis Tsigos got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the ΑΟ Φιλέλληνες Πέτα players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Achladéai FC.
