Pirgoϊsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Baxevanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoris Zigouropoulos in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Menios Sagionaridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes, Fragiskos Karidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Megas Alexandros FC and the Pirgoϊsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pirgoϊsi booed when Megas Alexandros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fragiskos Karidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menios Sagionaridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Baxevanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Demis Drougas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonidas Chalkias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Grigoris Zigouropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Sagionaridis having to interfere. If Stamatis Baxevanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
