The Orchomenós FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Orchomenós FC's goalkeeper Tilemachos Skapaneas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoros Raftopoulos. Orchomenós FC's Tilemachos Skapaneas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Orchomenós FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Orchomenós FC's goalkeeper Tilemachos Skapaneas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Kriaris. Isidoros Raftopoulos scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tilemachos Skapaneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Iordanis Tirovolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Labetis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Iordanis Tirovolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Papardelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Marinos Kounelakis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Orchomenós FC's Tilemachos Skapaneas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Menνoi FC's Vassilis Papardelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theofanis Kostakos in the 41st minute of play. When Periklis Voskaridis fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menνoi FC's protests and gave Periklis Voskaridis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Orchomenós FC booed when Menνoi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Periklis Voskaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Theofanis Kostakos came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Orchomenós FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theofanis Kostakos couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tilemachos Skapaneas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Raftopoulos in the 58th minute of the match. Theofanis Kostakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Papardelas having to interfere. Orchomenós FC's Tilemachos Skapaneas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoros Raftopoulos in the 69th minute of play. Pipis Kriaris got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th match minute, Menνoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Kriaris to maneuver through the defense. Alexandros Labetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Isidoros Raftopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menνoi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Marinos Kounelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tilemachos Skapaneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoros Raftopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tilemachos Skapaneas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Many of Orchomenós FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Orchomenós FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Menνoi FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
