Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anastasios Varelakis started the match with the kick off. Stefanos Kiousis came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Menνoi FC's Alexandros Labetis. But to his dismay, Alexandros Labetis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alexandros Labetis charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandros Labetis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Menνoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Labetis to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Kosmas Kavafis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Vassilis Papardelas to make any attempt to save it. Vassilis Papardelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasios Varelakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kosmas Kavafis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Papardelas having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Menνoi FC's Marinos Kounelakis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefanos Kiousis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefanos Kiousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Kounelakis in the 30th minute of play. Angelo Goren charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Goren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Kosmas Kavafis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Isidoros Raftopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Kiousis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Kiousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Kounelakis in the 45th minute of play. Stefanos Kiousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Kounelakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Menνoi FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinos Kounelakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anastasios Varelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Papardelas having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Menνoi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Vassilis Papardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Karoplιsi FC's Stefanos Kiousis got control of the ball when Isidoros Raftopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stefanos Kiousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Kounelakis in the 63rd minute of play. Marinos Kounelakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoros Raftopoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefanos Kiousis firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 78th match minute, Menνoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iason Kaliasis to maneuver through the defense. Vassilis Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Kavafis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Karoplιsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Kounelakis came free, but Stefanos Kiousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Papardelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Varelakis in the 84th minute of the match. Marinos Kounelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Kiousis having to interfere. Vassilis Papardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosmas Kavafis in the 94th minute of play. Vassilis Papardelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Varelakis in the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
