Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Kostas Zouganelis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Lefkópetra BC's zone, Andreas Kallitzakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evripidis Tsaganos came out of the goal and Andreas Kallitzakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markos Stathis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Evripidis Tsaganos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Andreas Kallitzakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panathinaikos AO's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Kallitzakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evripidis Tsaganos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Lefkópetra BC's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Verikios came free, but Evripidis Tsaganos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lefkópetra BC's Panos Geronimakis got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Markos Stathis came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Panathinaikos AO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markos Stathis couldn't finish the play. Alekos Verikios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evripidis Tsaganos having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Andreas Kallitzakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panathinaikos AO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Kostas Zouganelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Geronimakis's late challenge caught a Panathinaikos AO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Geronimakis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lefkópetra BC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Panos Geronimakis hit a great ball. Anestis Stratzalis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Panathinaikos AO got a penalty, and Alekos Verikios placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Andreas Kallitzakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Alekos Verikios reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evripidis Tsaganos. The goal made the score 3-0. Alekos Verikios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Evripidis Tsaganos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Lefkópetra BC's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Stathis came free, but Evripidis Tsaganos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lefkópetra BC's Evripidis Tsaganos got control of the ball when Andreas Kallitzakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lefkópetra BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alekos Verikios was slow to take the kick. During this time Panathinaikos AO's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Kallitzakis was the one to do the kick off. When Markos Stathis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Panathinaikos AO fans jumped to their feet. Panathinaikos AO's attack was well implemented in the 53rd minute, but when Andreas Kallitzakis was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Evripidis Tsaganos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Kallitzakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Panathinaikos AO's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Alekos Verikios was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Markos Stathis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Evripidis Tsaganos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panathinaikos AO. In the 68th minute Markos Stathis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evripidis Tsaganos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Thanos Voskopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lefkópetra BC's protests and gave Thanos Voskopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Thanos Voskopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Lefkópetra BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Geronimakis to maneuver through the defense. If Markos Stathis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanos Voskopoulos in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paschalis Chatziantoniou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alekos Verikios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Evripidis Tsaganos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markos Stathis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Panathinaikos AO getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Charalambos Sotiropoulos hit a great ball. If Markos Stathis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanos Voskopoulos got free with Paschalis Chatziantoniou in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
